Making Eeyore again

Once in while, I do like remaking some characters I have made before and usually I will make some changes to the newer version.

In this case, I did so for Eeyore.

Original Eeyore

So in my original Eeyore, I made his body continuous including his limbs (dislike sewing 🤚). For that round, I just used bobble stitches as his limbs, I did a blog post previously on how to do that.

Here’s how he turned out. If I’m not wrong, for his arms I used dc bobble stitches but his legs I did tc bobble stitches so they appear bigger.

Made into a keychain

I let go of this little guy at Singapore Comic Con to an awesome friend who got it to support me. Not to mention, he also did a little artwork of the final piece - nice right?

For him, the base I made was a separate magic ring and attached it using whip stitch (it’s one of the techniques I mentioned in my free ebook). Honestly, i felt it did not turn out too good.

Latest version of Eeyore

For the most recent version of him, his head remained roughly the same but I extended out the bobble stitches for all the limbs.

Also at the end, I closed off his buttocks rather than combining a flat magic ring. So his body structure turned out slightly different. Ta-da, my latest version of Eeyore!

My full Eeyore pattern is here, by the way.
