Introduction to Crocheting Bobble Flower
In this post, we will first be starting off with the relevant supplies and techniques you would need to crochet a small bobble flower. Here to make this flower, we will only be using 1 colour. Then we will head into the pattern proper.

Terminology for Crocheting Bobble Flower
Ch = chain
St = stitch (refers to number of stitches in one round)
= yo, insert hook in indicated, yo, pull up loop, yo, draw through 2 loops, [yo, insert hook in same, yo, pull through 2 loops] 2 times, yo, pull through 4 loops on hook
Materials and Tools for Crocheting Bobble Flower
3.5mm Furls Streamline Blush crochet hook
Scheepjes Catona or any equivalent fingering or sport weight yarn
Version 1 - Green (25gm each)
Version 2 - Blue (25gm each)
Scissors

Now that you have gathered your supplies and had a look at the basic terminology to reading the following pattern, let us first get started!
Yarn
Scheepjes Catona or any equivalent fingering or sport weight yarn
Crochet hook
2.5-3.0mm Clover crochet hook
Stuffing
Use leftover yarn or polyester fibrefill
Darning Needles
Safety Eyes
4mm glass eyes or safety eyes
Stitch Markers
Plastic stitch markers or metal stitch markers
Crochet Bobble Flower Pattern
Petal 1
Use green yarn to make this flower.
Magic ring ch4, 3dc bob into 3rd ch from hook, sl st 1 into 4th ch from hook, sl st 1 into magic ring, then continue below.
Rest of petals
(Ch4, 3dc bob into 3rd ch from hook, sl st 1 into 4th ch from hook, sl st 1 into magic ring) x 4
Pull the starting end of yarn taut to close up the ring. Then weave in the ends, tie off and cut excess yarn.
