My latest collection featuring a Lion Dance Troupe is pretty meaningful for me and I had a couple of reasons to make it back in 2020. After getting down to putting the pattern together and all the pictures, I decided it’s in time to release for Chinese New Year!

As a follow-up to my previous post I did last last year, which I felt was something great for me to look back and reflect upon. This year, I actually felt I had expanded on a lot of things that I was just starting out in 2020, mostly for Pocket Yarnlings. The collection I’m going to reveal this month is something very special to me and it’s also very exciting… this was the first instance when I decided to come up with my own independent designs!

Some time back in July, I was approached by someone from Team wonder and ACRES to help assist in making some amigurumis for sale for charity. I have always wanted to participate in something like this but truth be told, I did not really like crocheting bowls or hats or coasters. So this time, when I heard it was for amigurumis and the pattern was relatively quick, I was all for it!
