5 ways 2020 has made me a Better Person
My 2020 in a nutshell!
It’s been a hell of a year (no pun intended) but all things considered, I think I have learnt to be a slightly better person than I was at the end of 2019.
5 ways 2020 changed me:
1) Adaptive
Because of how covid had thrown everyone’s lives into disarray, I’m sure I’m not alone when I say everyone has to learn some form of adaption.
For me, I decided to move from selling physical crocheted products to digital patterns, which was a move I hesitated for a long time.
2) Adventurous
Kind of in line with the previous point, I decide to try out a lot of new things which I have never before! Like I participated in the Amigurumi patterns challenge.
Though I garnered about 207 votes (thank you to every single one of you who voted for me!), it was an experience I had never tried before!
3) Entrepreneurial
This was something I did not mention as another aspect of my life, but my hubby and I started a little clinic in the East side of Singapore. It’s been pretty nerve-wrecking but the job satisfaction is great, despite these trying covid times.
4) Grateful
2020 is all about what’s really important in life. There are always things to be grateful for and I prefer to adopt a positive attitude in life. Thankful for having proper equipment to see patients in, thankful for health in the family.
Also thankful to all you new followers (and the old ones) this year - you guys are awesome and I hope you like the stuff I do! What are you thankful for this year?
5) Hopeful
Last and not least, 2020 has taught me to be hopeful for 2021. If it’s not a good year this year, it will only hopefully get better next year right? Look forward to life, love and adventures in 2021… we wouldn’t know what next year brings, but bring it on right?
From me at Pocket Yarnlings in Singapore, Happy New Year and look out for more exciting things I have planned in 2021!
