Free Pumpkin Pattern
To kick off my ‘Fall-inspired’ collection, here a quick free Pumpkin pattern. I was trying my best to come up with my own version of a pumpkin and it is fairly important in this set as will be mentioned in later posts this month. I needed the pumpkin to be reversible on either side, or symmetrical.

Magnetic components
For this collection, I tried something a little more interactive. I decided to add magnets inside all my amigurumis, with a specific reason for mixing and matching them! The pumpkin also similarly has magnets inside it, so it can attract all the other amis, so the polarities of the magnet inside are important.
This is a simple example of what I mean for my little Hedgehog!
This is me adding some small simple button magnets (fairly easy to get at DIY stores) inside the pumpkin. The picture on the left shows a magnet being attracted to another one placed inside the pumpkin. I will be mentioning specifically about the magnets inside the animal amigurumis in a later blog post so stay tuned for it!
Otherwise, this simple pumpkin pattern is easy and quick to whip up! If you do make one, please remember to tag me on instagram @pocketyarnlings! I would love to see them!
